Default PSA Scam

Posted By: Jerry Spillman

The 'PSA Scam' is an inappropriate name for this thread. PSA did not do the scamming. 'A scam involving PSA graded cards' would have been a more accurate and truthful title for this thread.

I am sorry for anyone that has made a purchase and did not get the item that was anticipated. It creates not only a loss of money but a mix of disappointment and anger. I had a bad experience with an eBay crook some time ago.

A better solution for avoid these problems in the future is for the card grading companies to use the digital imaging system. The coin grading company grades, labels, slabs then photographs both sides of the coin in its holder. The image is then stored in an Internet accessible database. Prospective buyers will be able to verify the authenticity of the coin prior to purchase.
