It took a while to find the photo I needed, but this shows Barry's photo can't possibly be Ruth. Note that in Barry's photo, the top of the guy's ear more or less lines up with his eyebrows, but for Ruth, the top of his ear is well above his brow line.

Also - the ear shape is similar, but not the same.
