Let me be the 1st here to say it is the Babe.

It looks like a young Babe Ruth to me. I have seen this picture of him before.
When he was 15 years old he doubled as Pitcher and Catcher for the St Mary's School team.

Babe Ruth was ambidexterous....as a Catcher, I believe he threw Right-handed.
And note, Ruth signed everything with his right hand.
