The 51 Bowman Williams is missing the last line of print on back and this is where the word reprint was erased. The R319 Ruths have had the front picture area cropped, notice the top of the hat (#151) is cropped and the "G" in "George" (#144) is to close to the border. The R333 Gehrig has the wrong ink color on back and the border is way too wide. The 38 Goudey DiMaggio should have the border and background the same color, etc. etc.
The Reese might be authentic and worth $5
PS If the guy you say is a so called collector of vintage cards and not a newbie he better buy a book and read some. These are the easiest of all reprints to ID (by far).
