bmarloweI know this was weeks ago, but I thought the following might be interesting --
This same item had been honestly described and previously sold by Heritage last December:
HA Dec 21 2008
Early 20th Century Baseball Team Photograph. Exceptionally-composed team photograph from the early 20th century originates from the Griffith Studios in Stanberry, MO. Ten attractive portraits have been mounted onto a back which measures 11x14". Pinholes and rounding to the corners can be counted among the flaws, along with some regions of light foxing. A tremendous visual example nonetheless.
Lot # 43147 $143.40

I was pretty dumbfounded to see it a few weeks later on ebay so fraudulently described. I actually was able to contact the buyer after he paid over $600 for this - and last I heard he was in the process of getting a refund.
I believe the team is possibly early 1910's Springfield - a number of minor league teams had a similar logo - but it exactly matches some late 1900's Spalding Guide team photos of Springfield. That's all I know.
