I had the same issue tonight. It was a legitimate message from Ebay. At first I thought it was a phishing attempt and just deleted it. Then I logged into Ebay and my password didn't work. Scared the crap out of me. It was in "My Messages" on Ebay also.

Reset the password and checked around and it didn't look like any damage was done.

Coincidentally it happened about the same time I cancelled a couple of bids at Gavelsnipe.

I'm actually glad I wasn't the only one.
