I know his first cards were the Leaf and Bowman's, I do have a very nice '49 Bowman Paige.

I meant his rookie YEAR. Back in the negro leagues when was the first year he played? Late 1920's or was it in the 1930's. Paige was "The Man" along with Dizzy Dean in the early 30's.
