As you suspected, Werber was not in the 33 Goudey set. He is in 34 Goudey and in the Diamond Stars. He was a really nice guy.


I think Brian is correct that Gus Suhr was the last of the 33 Goudey players alive. And I know Brian's right about what a kind gentleman he was. First class fellow.

Marquard lived a long life, signed lots of stuff. Probably the easiest autograph to get of the T206 players. And a member of the Hall of Fame.
