From the images above, I like Mr. McGraw, and that is a GREAT Carl Mays card.

Here's my only one... This fella must have seen some great ballgames, some as a player, more as a coach with the Gashouse Gang. And what about his frugal telegram to Mr. Rickey about a prospect's abilities, knowing that Mr. Rickey hated to waste money, "Good field, no hit."
