I like the Tarzan cards and think this is a neat advertisement. This "Trophy" card below, along with some other information, has led me to think that "thoro" was a type of bread and there were different brands and mfg's, sort of like white or wheat; but "thoro". This ad above could be for "Arnold Milling Thoro Bread"? So, while I like this advertisement I am not yet persuaded that this is the same company that put the Tarzan cards out. (nothing personal ) I have seen an apron, a long time ago, that had the Tarzan Thoro ad on it. I didn't end up with it but remember it didn't have any other info on the ad (that I could see). It would be nice to find a card with a coupon still on it. Either that, or a definitive ad, will hopefully be found in the future. This is still one of the hobby's little mysteries. And I am not trying to rain on your parade, Paul, just sharing what I know. All of this said and we still don't know this company DIDN'T do them. Maybe someone else has some more/other info?
