Not necessarily. In the real world, we almost always draw conclusions before all facts are in. (Indeed, we can never have all the facts.) You reach a conclusion, and you will find it--later--to have been either right or wrong.
What I'm doing in this case is simply gambling. I'm calling Ted's (actually your--Ted never said he flew) bluff. Do it all the time when I play poker--in fact the only procedure available there is to make a decision without knowing all the facts.
Based on what I've seen of Ted's non T206 postings, I'm willing to bet as I have done.
