I Always search within the description because I don't want to miss something that may not be titled.. its probably 50/50 for searches.

Even if it is only 50/50 on the searches, he will get more views but not necessarily more bids, which may be what he is after. Some ebay Advertisers/Affiliates will include the MOST VIEWED auctions from certain catagories on their sites which will get his auction more exposure.

If you take a quick look at the description of this card, you notice the SET checklist is inlcuded which will get a lot of searches as will the mention of Jack Johnson (boxer). In reality its keyword spamming and could get the boot if someone reported it to eBay but personally, I'm not that anal. It bugs me but not to the point that I would want the guy to loose his insertion fee (bad choice of words.. how 'bout Listing FEE).
