In todays ecomony, with reference to collecting, i have slowed my buying pace by greater than 50 percent.

However, in addition to the conventional wisdom of being more careful/selective, many of the cards that i'm looking for either aren't available at present, or are only available if i'm willing to pay prices that are the same or exceed those seen in the past 6 to 24 months.

Thus for the time being, things are often close to a standstill, which i am perfectly comfortable with.
