Respectfully, Jeff, Our Constitution doesn't do what you say. It is a power-limiting document, not a right-giving document. Thirteen colonies / independent states got together to form a Union of States, and to give it limited power. Most power they reserve to themselves. The Constitution does not give us freedom of speech. If one reads it, it can be seen that it restrains Congress from abridging our freedom of speech. The Constitution limits what Congress and the federal government can do. The President and the Feds don't want us to think of it that way, schools don't teach it that way to kids... but that is the truth of it.
