I remember being six years old and living in Philadelphia. Greg Luzinski was my favorite player, and one night my dad took me to the local 7-11 and bought me some cards. I was VERY excited to get a Greg Luzinski that night - so excited I wrote a number "1" on the back of the card.

Fast forward to the late 1980s. We were living in Seattle, and my dad had a baseball card shop. I didn't collect much at the time, but one day I was bored and went through his box of 1977 commons for sale for a trip down memory lane. I smiled when I came across the Luzinski... then flipped it over, and saw a "1" on the back.

That card still resides in a screw-down holder in my office.
