for whatever reason...Leyland brought up several youngsters and sat veterans in the midst of a playoff chance.Rogers ,Verlander and Zumaya were all out. So the wins have nothing to do with the way they dealt there own fate. i as a bystander could not believe what they were doing that whole entire time. Thew weirdest thing I ever saw. There is no team is history that has put a lineup together such as this.Sheffield was hurt and played still...which hurt the team.
