John K As I remember, a recent figure on wealth distribution in the USA had the top 1% of the population in possession of 50% of the wealth in the country. I have also heard many times conversations about what the top 1/10 of one percent have, but I don't recall the figures here. However, there is no doubt that under Bush/Cheney money is being pushed to the top. And it has been reported that McCain will continue this trend, even worse as I understand. Look at the economy: trickle down and deregulation do not work. The middle class is disappearing.
