ali_lapointah see i didn't get to see his original posts in their original form because by the time i saw they were edited a few times. i've just been gaining a sense of what was said through everyone else's reactions. really all i could put together was he said something sexual about your wife and child, i didn't know he threatened you with a personal confrontation as well. like i said, i hope the issue raises important debates about speech and threats over the internet because as far as i know the internet is a sort of wild west in terms of law enforcement. good for you leon i'm interested to see how this all works out.
and by the way, i wasn't trying to question leon's decisions or defend billy, i was just concerned that in the end nothing would happen but a lot of wasted time and energy because of the past few high profile internet cases i've seen on the news. in each case both parties seemed to lose more than they gained, whether that be legal fees or a crushing realization that nothing can be done. i sincerely hope a law has been broken or a new law enacted.
