I haven't read all the threads that this pertains to, nor do I care to. From what I have read the authorities should be involved. Its one thing for two grown men to disagree to the point of challenging each other to a fight, what took place is an entirely different matter. One of the primary responsibilities of a man is to protect his family. The comments/threats as I understand them are so far out of line that the authorities should be involved. Its not being self-righteous, its being civil and responsible.

Its one thing to challenge someone to a fight....and regret it the next day and realize that your acting like a 17 year old and apologize - fine we've all done/said things that in retrospect we wish we'd handled differently. Threatening someone's family and the specific things mentioned can't be explained away as male testosterone. I for one hope that the authorities do follow up on this.

It would be nice if there weren't any more threads about this.
