I believe James said it draws people in. It wasn't a slight to the townsfolk... I think it deserves an apology, but hey, that's me.

Incidentally, I've been to Vegas, Laughlin, LA and Miami and I gotta say, they attract a lions share of the world's bugs to their bright lights too.
