ZinnI'm reminded of a story told of Clark Clifford who, while practicing as a Washington power broker, received a telephone call from a corporate client. After listening for about five minutes, Clifford responded, "do nothing".
After hanging up he called his secretary in and told her to send the client a bill for $25,000 for the "telephone consultation".
The client paid promptly and was quite satisfied as the advice given was worth far more than the fee paid.
