Hi Darren,

Do you know anything about this stamp or person? I found the reference below by googling, which would put this Robert Walton Jr. at about the right age to be the original owner, but who knows.

"Robert Walton, Jr. was born in Augusta, Georgia, on January 22, 1894 (Died November 1, 1987) and entered the U. S. Army at the age of 23 in 1917."
