Kenneth A. CohenFirst, I'd like to add my thanks to Leon for setting up the great Thursday night dinner. As I'm sure quite a few others did, I took advantage of the Chicago location to take in a Cubs game. For me, this also greatly enhanced the weekend.
I went Friday afternoon and found it a refreshing return to earlier days - a weekday day game, the sight of steel columns (probably not so great if you're sitting behind one), and the manually operated scoreboard. Most importantly, unlike in DC and Baltimore where I attend games, they haven't adopted the practice of filling every moment of game inaction with loud audio-junk such as thrash medal guitar riffs or bugle charges. I was actually able to have a conversation with the person next to me.
I'd be interested in others' impressions who were first-time Wrigley visitors.
