Thank you Leon for a great dinner. I appreciate the opportunity to attend. Years past I have been buried under cards grading away until the wee hours of the night unable to get away for the dinner. This year Mark snuck me out of the booth.
It is rare company that I can actually talk about Jackie Mitchell, Charles Victory Faust and Lawrence Ritter over dinner and not get strange looks.
I always enjoy the opportunity meeting and talking with fellow vintage collectors who are passionate about our great hobby. Thanks to everyone I had the chance to talk to and meet for the first time. I wish I had more time to chat during the show.
As my wantlist grows ever more specific, it becomes harder and harder to make a score but I did add some great vintage Japanese material to my Victor Starffin collection this past week. I won’t cry about zero Chattanooga pick ups this year.
And Brett, I added your book suggestion to my list!
