JKI for one do not use 90% of the new features on your site - like others I am only interested in pre-war baseball. I doubt very seriously that I will pay 17.99 to keep the level of service I have or even 12.99 to get even less.
Bobby, perhaps the better plan would have been to charge ala carte - sort of like the cable companies. For 9.99 you get one sport (such as pre-war baseball) plus some of the extras (such as the ability to catalog your collection, etc). For each additional sport, you pay more.
I'd be much more inclined to keep my membership if I could just pay for what I want. I'm certainly not going to lay out $500 in advance to pay for five years of service that I may or may not have a need for.
Finally, you mention that you are going to put the average price on the grid - how will that average price be calculated? If you plan to use all of the sales tracked back to 2005/2006, Im not sure how accurate that will be. If its going to be the average price over the past 6-12 months, then I think that would be a more helpful addition.
