I like to look for cards with really good eye appeal and a low grade. The lower grade provides a discount and the eye appeal just makes me enjoy the purchase, that much more. I've seen so many examples of real insane comparisons in cards of the same grade. This is why I think the card companies shouldn't assign a numerical grade because they tend to look rather silly when obviously horrible comparisons appear in b-board threads like this.
