Are you sure they're not just feeding you a bunch of mumbo jumbo nonsense in order to get you to consign. Those auction houses will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to get their hooks into your stuff.

The number don't add up.

"Last week we met with a major auction house owner who told us about
three new customers who had each spent in excess of $2.5 million
this year (all on pre-war cards)"

3 collectors spending a total of $7.5 million on pre-war cards with one auction house. Was anybody else able to win a single card?
