I have never seen a Powell with stands with no border. If one exists that would make sense, but I wouldn't necessarily trust a pic on cardpricer or anything like that as it may just be a crop job.

The border/no border thing is NOT a good way of telling which year the card came from. As the following 1921's all have a border...Alexander, O.Bush, Cobb, Gowdy, Hornsby, etc., etc.

The script on the 1922's is very distinct but the 1921's and the 1923-24's can be somewhat confusing, as they often look very similar. Dugan below is 1921 and the Clark is 1923-24
