The Wagner received an Auth grade because the top two corners of the mount had become detached and then reattached with tape on the back.

Regarding the grading of oversized cards in general, it is my understanding that a large card is graded as if it is a blown up version of a small card, meaning that if the Matty were shrunk down to, say a t-sized card, the allowable corner rounding/wear would be percentage-wise the same. The corner looks so bad because the card is huge. Same thing with T3's, etc.

That being said, I understand why the Matty is in a 3 holder, but think that it would not look out of place in a 2 holder. Not that it really matters, because no one will miss seeing that corner. Maybe except for me because I wish it was still there
