The season is shot, but you do not give up. Did you kick the wife out of the house after your first fight? Did you kick your kid out of the house after his/her first misdeed? Like I said, if he told the organization he would not sign, then good move. If this were true, if I were an Indians fan, I would be concerned why this would be the case. If he was willing to resign, then you do everything to keep him. He probably has another 13 solid years ahead of him, this year should be an outlier year.
