Saw that one listed earlier and got a good chuckle!


Here's one I came across. Betcha didn't know Frank Delehanty (Louisville) was a Southern Leaguer! I wrote to the seller and he added the question to the listing.

Here's the answer I got: "i am sorry about this. i do not know much about the older cards and assummed that polar bear was his nick name when i saw it on the other auction. the piedmont back is what the card is. thanks and sorry for the mix-up". From now on, he's Bill "Polar Bear" Clancy!
