New York has a one year statute of limitations for libel. Most other states have a one or two year statute of limitations. The plaintiff has both the law and the facts against him. Not a very promising lawsuit. My guess is that the defendants will win this on summary judgment. The plaintiff's deposition would be very interesting reading however.
