First of all www.oldcardboard.com is a good spot for you to research the different set galleries as well as the T206 backs.

"I'd like one that's reasonably attractive, not too great in availability to make examples reasonably a challenge to come by, and not too aggressive in price."

We all want that but it's just not realistic.
