Horse racing and cock fighting are obviously not EXACTLY the same. Let me know when you find another "sport" that has to execute participants to end their suffering from an injury sustained in an activity they didn't choose to participate in.

I guess you would only consider it cruel if EVERY single race featured the death of a horse? If not, what percentage of dead horses is acceptable? Be sure to factor in those non-winners who are auctioned off to become yummy horse meat.
