Your injury point is a good one, Barry. Though one would have to compare the injury rate of racers versus the injury rate non racers before one could draw a valid conclusion. If one doesn't know the normal injury rate of non-racers, including idle grazers, it's impossible to say that injury rate of racers is higher.
