My guess is that most horses enjoy the racing. Greyhounds enjoy the race, as no one's riding or whipping them-- they're just chasing. Most sled dogs enjoy pulling the sled. I don't think steroids should be used, except for legitimate medicinal reasons. Obviously there can be abuse of race horses and dogs, and I'm against that.
