BobI'm sure there will be some excuses but the bottom line appears to be that 1) he is not physically hurt (asst. trainer just said so on the radio) 2) he didn't give his bst effort today and 3) he got his butt beat. I can't remember the last time a horse attempting to win the final leg of the Triple Crown gave such a lackluster and flat race. Ever.
