Default How to remove crayon from cardboard?

Just curious... I am assuming you wrote "Kevin" on that card recently, and obviously it came off nicely as you demonstrated.

But does it come off as easily when the crayon marks have been on the card for years (or decades?) Just wondering if/how much the length of time matters. I would assume that vintage crayon from the '50s might be tougher to remove?
