Dave, the W-Series is sort of the "everything else" category as opposed to the "strip card" category which it is often mistaken for. Anything that wasn't reasonably classified in one of the other categories got grouped into the W-cards. An example is W503, these cards are absolutely candy/caramel cards, but since there is no absolute proof...they get classified as W-503.

Many cards in the W's are not strip cards nor were they cut out of anything.
