Seth B.Eric, thank you. I have never seen those before. You may have already recognized this, but the factory and district number on your card is identical to the baseball series (Series I and the commonly found stamp on Series II).
Also, do you mean that only 46 TOTAL are known, or that only cards of 46 numbers (but more than 46 total cards) are known?
