joann - not sure what you disagree with. Many of us bidding last night didn't bid earlier because we knew it would run later - if we had bid earlier, then he could have ended it earlier. We knew it would run later because he ended it later last year. If he guaranteed that the auction would end sometime between 1 and 2 AM I would bet everyone who bid last night would have their bids in by then.
