This fellow in Virginia is selling T206 with ads in SCD. This is around 1986, 87 or so as I recall. So I call him and in the conversation he says "why don't I just send you a few on approval". I give him my address and about a week later a big box arrives with a binder of over 700 T206 cards. So (after I pick myself up off the floor) I calls him and asks what he wants for them. He says "what you got?". I tell him I have a fairly nice 53 Bowman Color set and we made the deal. Don't know who made out better but I was happy, he was happy, and I made great strides towards completing the Monster.
