My homeowners only covered $1000 of my baseball card collection that was stolen (only had about $10k worth of cards, not nearly the amount like most of you on these boards). They didn't have a cap on the amount for my comic book collection that was also stolen at the same time. It's taken them over two months to go over the fair market value to replace my comics. I had a bunch of Golden and Silver age comics worth about $75k. Still no check yet, but they stated they didn't want to short change me on the value.
