On these scarcer issues, such as D380, I don't think the difference in prices between a 2 and a 3, or a 3 and a 4, are very different vis a vis the prices they bring. Most folks that collect true scarcity, as opposed to condition scarcity setsm don't care that much if something is a 2,3 or 4......I know for sure that the whale you spoke of is not condition sensitive at all. At least he wasn't when he won a Just So from me on ebay several years ago as it had a heavy crease through his head. I know for the few sets I collect I don't care if I get a 2 or a 3 or a 4 and would actually prefer a lower grade one if it's less expensive and presentable.....regards
