1) If I open a thread I am interested in, I usually read most (or all) of the posts in that thread. If the post is unwieldingly long, I sometimes go to the bottom and read a few at the bottom to catch up.

2) I will not scroll down more than a day's worth.

3) Almost never.

4) With some frequency -- to find the answer to something I read at some point, to see what I had previously written or to challenge the consistency of certain posters.
