Thanks for the info. You’re 100% correct, I’m new to vintage cards all together and have started with the T206’s after a lot of research into what it was I wanted to do. I have set my goal at the T206 HOF set and figured it would either end or grow from there.

What I’m really trying to get into is the nuisances of these cards.

For example (and forgive my ignorance) is staining more prevalent on Polar Bear cards due to how the cards were packed with a certain type of tobacco? Are there flaws that are seen generally by collectors as more acceptable than others, creases, diamond cut, paper lose, scuffing, staining, marking, etc. than some others?

I’m just trying to become as absolutely educated as possible about what I am buying. I know it can’t all be learned in a day and I will surely pay some price for ignorance at some point, but anything that helps would be great.
