David SmithI don't know much about sales of these cards in recent years but that seems like a lot of money when you add in the 20% Buyer's Premium and $15 for shipping. Though I am not complaining because I own a Yale Murphy card from this set, one of three known, so far.
I think TIK bought a Yale Murphy on eBay a few months back for $900.
Here is a scan of my Newsboy Murphy card along with a cabinet card from when he was in college, hence the nickname "Yale" Murphy.
