You know, as much as Tony knew about cards, he also had the extensive (back to the 1970s) knowledge about the hobby, the hobbyists and the ballplayers with whom he'd dealt. I always looked forward to the wee hours of the morning in the hospitality rooms (remember those?) at the major shows when Tony would "talk shop."
