Jeff LichtmanThis win has a weird feel to it compared to the other Super Bowl wins: in those games, although I believe we were underdogs in both, the Giants were clearly great teams (especially the defenses). The Bills were a super team but hardly the Patriots of this year -- after all, 18-0! The Giants have like one Hall of Famer on this team and he's in the twilight of his career; this year's team is just not a great team in the usual sense of the word. So, it feels like a gift, unlike the other Super Bowl wins. I never expected this one. Who could?
As for the game, I think it was a great game. Even though it was low scoring it was a very tight, very nerve-wracking game and the 4th quarter was incredible. Best game ever? Probably not. But one of the top Super Bowls ever? Sure, when you add the Patriots' seemingly invincible team, the possibility of 19-0, Eli's troubled career, Peyton rooting him on...the game had a lot of context before you even get to the actual game itself.
