Liriano is coming off major arm surgery. Good luck with him being the same pitcher as before.

As for Gomez, I agree he can be special -- but he'll never hit for real power (although it is true he is faster than Jose Reyes). I'd still rather have Ellsbury or Phil Hughes any day of the week than Gomez.
